ReVireo partnered with Ryan Inc, a general contractor that builds single-family projects and townhouses in New Jersey. The project located at 22 Cleveland Avenue is a modular, single-family home.
ReVireo provided energy modeling and consulting to ensure compliance with the applicable version of energy code. Then, ReVireo performed inspections and verification services required for the pre-requisite certifications to Passive House Institute US (PHIUS+), which include ENERGY STAR Homes and DOE Zero Energy Ready Home (ZERH) certifications and the Indoor airPLUS label. ReVireo performed inspections and testing to ensure the project complied with PHIUS standards and that all systems were installed correctly.
ReVireo served as the PHIUS+ Rater for the project, managing the process of all certifications. ReVireo also qualified the highly efficient project for over $4,750 in rebates from the New Jersey Clean Energy Program (NJCEP) and $2,000 from the Section 45L Tax Credit, for a total of over $6,750 in rebates.
