New Brunswick Wellness Plaza

Overview

This mixed-use building, located across the street from the train station in bustling downtown New Brunswick, NJ, is home to both the Robert Wood Johnson Fitness & Wellness Center and The Fresh Grocer food store. The plaza also includes a parking structure that has electric car charging stations. It was constructed using many low-emitting materials, which is consistent with the project’s intent to improve the public health of the surrounding community.

To comply with the green building requirements of a public financing tax credit, the New Brunswick Wellness Plaza project was built in accordance with the intent of the LEED 2009 for Retail design guidelines. In order to achieve this objective, ReVireo provided LEED AP consulting and project management services.
