836 South 3rd Street

Overview

Leebco Properties developed a new multifamily building comprised of four units located at 836 South 3rd Street in Philadelphia’s historic Queen Village neighborhood. The project was required to demonstrate compliance with the Philadelphia Energy Code. The Department of Licenses and Inspections (L&I) is the official enforcement body for the Philadelphia Energy Code, ensuring that all building projects meet local energy efficiency standards.

ReVireo’s team of qualified professionals were engaged on this project to perform and complete all required inspections and associated L&I forms and checklists. Both rough stage and final stage inspections were conducted to verify that the building’s insulation, air sealing, and air barrier installations met the prescribed energy performance criteria. ReVireo provided the necessary reporting and documentation, including the L&I Air Barrier & Insulation Installation Checklist at Pre-Drywall Inspection and the Duct & Envelope Testing (DET) Form and the L&I Air Barrier & Insulation Installation Checklist at Final Inspection, to demonstrate compliance with appliable requirements.

Through ReVireo’s involvement, all units successfully met the applicable Philadelphia Energy Code requirements, enabling Leebco Properties to streamline their L&I approval process and commitment to deliver quality construction that meets all energy efficiency guidelines.
