The Vault at 900 Main is a four-story multifamily building, approximately 13,000 ft² with 30 residential apartment units located in Belmar, NJ. As part of the project, Downeaster Capital sought to install a dual-port Level II electric vehicle charging station. A dual-port Level II EV charger is a fast, shared charging station that allows two electric vehicles to charge at the same time using 240-volt power, well-suited for apartments and shared parking areas. The installation of the charging port system allowed The Vault at 900 Main to pursue available incentives through the New Jersey Board of Public Utilities (NJBPU) Multi-Unit Dwelling (MUD) Program.
ReVireo supported the project by managing the rebate application process for the EV charger installation. This included verifying program eligibility, preparing required documentation, and coordinating with the project team to meet the MUD Program’s technical and submission requirements.
The project successfully secured the available rebate, reducing overall installation costs while enhancing the building’s amenities. ReVireo’s involvement ensured a smooth application process and helped maximize the project’s eligibility for state incentives.
