107 West 105th Street & 981 Amsterdam Avenue

Overview

107 West 105th Street and 981 Amsterdam Avenue are two five-story multifamily buildings in New York City, composed of affordable housing rental apartments. 107 West 105th Street includes 15 apartments totaling approximately 8,700 square feet, and 981 Amsterdam Avenue includes 13 apartments totaling approximately 11,500 square feet. ETC Companies engaged ReVireo to provide Mechanical, Electrical, and Plumbing (MEP) commissioning services for these rehabilitated properties.

ReVireo commissioned the buildings’ boilers, associated pumps, hot water heaters, rooftop units (RTUs), and lighting systems, ensuring all equipment operated efficiently and in accordance with design intent. The services followed the New York City Energy Conservation Code (NYC ECC), verifying that all systems complied with current energy code requirements and performed optimally for resident comfort and operational efficiency.

Through this comprehensive MEP commissioning process, ReVireo ensured reliable system performance, energy efficiency, and compliance with local energy regulations, supporting ETC Companies’ goal of providing high-quality, affordable housing.
